The Nigerian senior basketball team, D'Tigress has defeated Egypt to become the first team to qualify for the quarter finals of the 2017 African women basketball championship in Mali.
Coach Sam Vincent's girl defeated their 3rd group opponent 106 - 72 to qualify for the next round.
The team keep improving after each game.
Having defeated Mozambique 80-69 in their first game the ladies continued their impressive run of form by beating DR Congo 84-47 points coming into today's encounter.
With two games(Guinea and Senegal) to spare, the west African team have a place in the second round guaranteed.
